Services for Loyce Wallace Smith, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m.Monday, Sept. 15, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 83, died Sept. 12, 2008, in Bogue Chitto. She wasborn on Nov. 17, 1924, to Luster Wallace and Minnie Rae MoakWallace.

She was retired from Stahl-Urban. She was a member of CalvaryBaptist Church. She was an avid gardener who also enjoyed quiltingand spending time with the joys of her life, her grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Randolph Smith; herson-in-law, Garland Crosby; her brothers, Arthur Wallace, MartinWallace, Jewell Wallace and L.C. Wallace Jr.; and her sisters,Pearl Haver and Ruth Bryant; and many special nieces, nephews andfriends.

Survivors are her daughter, Shirley Ann Tedder Crosby, of BogueChitto; her brother, J.H. Reeves, of Summit; her grandchildren,Derek Crosby and wife, Rebecca, of Brookhaven, Don Crosby, of BogueChitto, Amy Crosby Cupit and husband, Brad, of Brookhaven, andKaren Crosby Fahner, of Bogue Chitto; and her great-grandchildren,Logan, Bretton, Connor, Colby, and Kara Beth Crosby, Kyle andKassidy Cupit, and Chloe Fahner.

Pallbearers will be Derek Crosby, Don Crosby, Brad Cupit, LoganCrosby, Bretton Crosby and Colby Crosby.

Honorary pallbearers will be Connor Crosby and Kyle Cupit.
