Services for Mrs. Ruth Naomi LeViere, of Bogue Chitto, are 2p.m. on Thursday, July 24, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNatchez Drive with burial in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from noon until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.
Mrs. Ruth Naomi LeViere, 92, went home to be with her Lord inthe home of her son, James LeViere, of Shepherd, Mich., on July 20,2008. She was born in Adrian, Pa. on Aug. 30, 1915, to James Frickand Lettie Montgomery Frick.
Mrs. LeViere spent her life alongside her husband, the Rev.Raymond Ralph LeViere, in the Baptist pastorate, home missions andchurch planting in the northeast U.S. She was an exemplary pastor’swife with a servant’s heart and a deep love for Jesus Christ. Herlife was dedicated to taking care of people and meeting theirneeds. She loved sharing her faith with everyone and never missedan opportunity to tell people about God’s love and mercy. She wastruly a Proverbs 31 woman. Her children and grandchildren rise upand call her blessed.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; the Rev.Raymond Ralph LeViere; a son, Richard Charles LeViere; a daughter,Beverly Ruth Montgomery; her sisters, Elizabeth Osborne and YettaScott; her brothers, Robert, George, Joseph, James and Harry Frick;a grandchild, Joseph Charles LeViere; and two great-grandchildren,Daniel Christopher Foster and Laura Jane Geiger.
Survivors are her son, Raymond James LeViere and wife, Susan, ofShepherd; a son-in-law, Sonny Montgomery, of Bogue Chitto; hergrandchildren, Debra Smith and Brenda Foster, of Brookhaven, DavidMontgomery, of Bogue Chitto, Richard LeViere, of Texas, MichaelLeViere, of West Virginia, Linnea Geiger, of Virginia, DanielLeViere, of Coleman, Mich., Rachel Nagel, of Midland, Mich., JohnLeViere, Timothy LeViere, Bethany Disel, Sara Hill, Mary LeViereand Hannah LeViere, of Shepherd; her 26 great-grandchildren; andher three great-great-grandchildren.
