Mildred Williams Britt Bardwell
Services for Mildred Williams Britt Bardwell, of McComb, will beheld at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at Hartman-Sharkey FuneralHome in McComb with Dr. David Millican officiating. Burial will bein Mt. Zion Cemetery in Lincoln County at a later date.
Visitation is Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. untilservice time.
Mrs. Bardwell, 78, died April 28, 2008, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born July 31, 1929, inCopiah County to Robert Lafayette Williams and Willie PattersonWilliams.
She was a retired supervisor from Potter Company in Wesson. Shewas a member of the former First Church of the Nazarene inMcComb.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband,Charles “Monvil” Britt; one son, Robert Henry “Bobby” Britt, ofBrookhaven; four brothers, Robert, Henry, James and C.A. Williams;and three sisters, Helen Woodall, Clara Haley and Nancy Mason.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Albert “Pete”Bardwell, of McComb; her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles”Monnie” and Bonnie Britt, of Brookhaven, and Kenny and DebbieBritt, of Wesson; her daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Miller, andMarilyn and Buster Brown, all of Brookhaven; her stepson and hiswife, Dennis and Peggy Bardwell, of Brookhaven. her sister, FlonnieTurnbo, of Wesson; her sisters-in-law, Dot Yates and husbandEdward, Mae Cutrer and Jessie Hunt, all of McComb; her 12grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces andnephews.

Jo Ann Cloy Wallace
Services for Jo Ann Cloy Wallace, of Meadville, will be held at10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church inFranklin County with burial in the church cemetery. FranklinFuneral Home in Meadville is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Wallace, 52, died April 28, 2008, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center. She was born in Franklin County on Nov.21, 1955, to W.T. Cloy and Jodie Mae Wroten Cloy.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her father; two brothers; and aniece.
Survivors are her mother, Jodie Mae Cloy, of Smithdale; herhusband, Phillip Wallace, of Meadville; her son, Festus Wallace, ofPines, Fla.; her daughters, Dustie Petty, of Summit, and LaceyPowe, of McCall Creek; her brother, David Cloy, of Smithdale; andher seven grandchildren.
