Barbara Ann Mizell Allred

Services for Barbara Ann Mizell Allred will be held at noon onWednesday, March 12, at Hartman Funeral Home in McComb with burialin Montgomery Cemetery. The Rev. Mike McKee will officiate.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Allred was born on Oct. 14, 1956, in Franklinton, La., toFrank and Ruth Mizell. Thomas E. Allred took Barbara’s hand inmarriage in 1981.
She was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church for many years.She retired from Kellwood Co., in Summit after 26 years. Mrs.Allred was extremely devoted to her family and friends. She alwaysenjoyed making her family and friends feel loved and welcomed withher good cooking and her good loving heart. For years they grewgardens full of vegetables and truckbeds full of catfish werecaught making many memories for Barbara and Thomas through theyears. She loved talking and playing with her children andgrandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, EddieMizell; her father-in-law, T.J. Allred; and mother-in-law, NellAllred.
Survivors are her husband of 28 years, Thomas Allred, of Summit;her sons, James Earl Allred, of Bogue Chitto, Michael T. Allred andwife Tammy, of Bogue Chitto, and Thomas Neil Allred of Summit; herdaughter, Misty Ann Ainsworth, of Maurepas, La.; her brothers, PaulK. Mizell, of Franklinton, and Luther Mizell and wife Lisa, ofMonroe, La.; her sisters, Shirley Mizell and Carrie Thomas, both ofFranklinton; her sisters-in-law, Jean Whittington and Patsy Johnsonand husband Bill, all of Summit; her grandchildren, Alan MichaelAllred, Breeanna Smith, Kasey Smith, Jacob Smith and Jasper DeanThomas Allred; her nieces and nephews, Amanda Slaughter and husbandAdam, Melinda Allred, Lisa Cooper, Brian Mizell and wife Casandra,Heath Thomas and wife Joanna, April Thomas, and Gary and VickieMizell.
Pallbearers are Alan Michael Allred, Adam Slaughter, SteveWinborne, Aubrey Wallace, Brian Mizell and Heath Thomas.
