Democrats made the first visit two weeks ago promoting theircandidates. Republicans responded Tuesday with their ownheadliners.
The winners in the two separate events: hungry supporters. Thelosers: catfish, as hundreds of supporters ate pounds and pounds ofthe Mississippi delicacy while they cheered on their favoritecandidates.
Election Day is only five weeks away. The two local events hadtheir share of political rhetoric and rhubarb on why theirparticular party’s candidates should be elected Nov 6, which ofcourse is to be expected when the candidate is paying fordinner.
