A graveside service for Ruby C. Reed, of Monticello, will beheld at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Cliburn Cemetery inMonticello. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Reed, 83, died Sept. 11, 2007, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born on Jan. 10, 1924, to Zeke Dixon and FlorenceRobinson Dixon.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ThomasCleveland Stephens; her three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are her son, R.C. Stephens; her daughters, Shirley S.Harper, Bobbie Davis and Betty McCaffery; her 13 grandchildren andnine great-grandchildren.
