Ole Brook Festival readies for weekend

The 2007 Ole Brook Festival is guaranteed to be a day offriends, food, fun and fantastic entertainment, say eventcoordinators.
The 33rd year of the annual festival is expected to be thebiggest one in the last several years, said Brookhaven-LincolnCounty Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President CliffBrumfield.
“It’s the largest in the last 15-20 years,” he said. “And wehave 250 vendor booths. We added some, sold out, and added somemore.”
Brumfield said the vendors are expected to bring everything frompets to antiques to crafts and food.
“The biggest thing is that we have booth people calling in thathave never been here,” he said. “They’ve been signing up left andright.”
Event organizer Kenny Goza said there will also be some motorbooths sponsored by Cable One, and two inflatable kids areas.
