Services for Steven L. Short, of Fayette, are noon on Saturday,Aug. 18, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Fayette with burial inBell Hill/Hickory Block Cemetery in Jefferson County. MarshallFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice at the church.

Mr. Short, 35, died Aug. 11, 2007, at his residence. He was bornin New Orleans, La., on July 27, 1972, to Herbert Short and IreneRunnels Short.

Preceding him in death were his mother, and his grandmother,L.B. (Louvellar) Runnels.

Survivors are his father; his brothers, Brian Runnels and GlennRunnels; his grandfather, G.W. Runnels; and a host of aunts,uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
