Graveside services for Mildred Bowers Hartgraves, of Brookhaven,are 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, with burial in Beauregard Cemetery inWesson. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hartgraves, 93, died May 29, 2007, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Bloomington, Ill., on Oct. 19,1913, to Charles and Virginia Keller Bowers.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church,of Brookhaven, where she also served as a Sunday school secretary.She is also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Bridge Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Vernon EdwinHartgraves; one brother, Loyd Bowers; and two sisters, Elva Bowersand May Bowers.

Survivors are her son, Ronald J. Hartgraves and his wife, AnnaStorey Hartgraves, of Wesson; one granddaughter, Sharon Speightsand her husband, Scott, of Wesson; and two great-grandchildren,Laura Speights and Anna Frances Speights, both of Wesson.
