Services for Virginia Flowers Jackson, of Roxie, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Feb. 17, at East Roxie Church of Christ with burial inSalem Baptist M.B. Church Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.

Mrs. Jackson, 58, died Feb. 12, 2007, at River Region Hospital.She was born in Brookhaven on May 16, 1948, to Charlie and AliceFlowers.

Preceding her in death were her father, Charlie Flowers and herbrother, Harold Flowers Sr.

Survivors are her mother, Alice Flowers, of Brookhaven; herhusband, Charles Jackson Sr., of Hamburg; her son, Charles JacksonJr., of Denver, Colo.; her daughter, La Toyia Jackson, of Denver;her brothers, Willie B. Flowers and Larry Flowers, both ofBrookhaven, and Frank Edward, of Vallejo, Calif.; her sisters,Claudette Johnson, of Greenville and Arnette Walter, of Brookhaven;her four grandchildren; and many loved ones and friends.
