Eva Nell Britt
Services for Eva Nell Britt, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Riverwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Britt, 83, died Jan. 14, 2007, at Brook Manor NursingCenter. She was born on Jan. 2, 1924, to Victor Smith and GraceSmith.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, JackSmith.
Survivors are her husband, Perry H. Britt; her sons, Gary D.Smith and wife Lora Faye, Roger D. Smith and wife Lynnette, andOscar O. Smith Jr. and wife Beth; her brothers, Shelby C. Smith andwife Pat, and Hollis Smith; her sister, Edith Rae Allred andhusband Alton; her grandchildren, Gary Paul Smith, Tracey Smith,Leanna Barfoot, Kate Smith, Anna Smith, and Oscar O “Trey” SmithIII; her great-grandchildren, Ty Smith, Clay Smith, Kelley Smith,Jaylie Barfoot, Braydon Smith, Britton Smith; and threegrandchildren and three great-grandchildren in Louisiana.
Pallbearers are Gary Paul Smith, Owen Smith, Andy Cain, TraceySmith, Stacey Smith, Tommy Nettles, Mike Smith and Tim Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Sam Smith, Clinton and Peggy Allen, andMrs. Britt’s Sunday school class.

Dave Ogle III
Dave Ogle III was born April 10, 1956, in Columbia, Tenn., toYvonne and Dave Ogle II. He passed away Jan. 15, 2007, at Canute,Okla., at the age of 50 years, 9 months, and 5 days.
Dave graduated from Columbia Military Academy. He began workingin the oilfield where he worked offshore before moving to westernOklahoma in 1986. Dave was a mechanic at L & R Tire for anumber of years before owning and operating Dave’s Diesel. He wasmarried to Peggy Sue Schreck in Scottsdale, Ariz., on May 10, 2004,and they made their home in Canute. He loved to fish and doinganything outdoors, as well as cooking and entertaining family andfriends.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a niece, HannahPorche.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 17,2007, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, officiated byFather Carl Janocha. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery underthe direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service, Elk City.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ogle; his son, William Ogle,of Canute; his daughter, Stephanie Adams and husband Shawn, ofFoss, Okla.; his mother, Yvonne Ogle, of Brookhaven; hismother-in-law, Gelene Schreck of Canute; his grandchildren, KaitlynOgle, Colt Adams and Sage Adams; his sister, Debbie Porche, ofBlountsville, Tenn., and Patty Ogle, of Pulaski, Tenn.; and hisbrother, Donald Ogle, of Nashville, Tenn.
Alice Winters
Services for Alice Winters, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Friday,Jan. 19, at Norfield Bethel M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto with burialin the Bogue Chitto/Norfield Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is incharge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Winters, 86, died Jan. 12, 2007, at Brook Manor NursingCenter. She was born in Monticello on Jan. 26, 1920, to Will Evansand Rosetta Evans.
She was retired. She was a member of Norfield Bethel M.B.Church, where she was an active member of Sunday school, Bibleclass and the Mission Society.
Preceding her in death were parents; her husband, Frank Winters;her brothers, Zebbie “Buster” Evans, Jacob Evans, Esau Evans,Oliver Evans, Willie “Frank” Evans and Clarence “C.B.” Evans; andher sister, Elizabeth “Sweetie” Watkins.
Survivors are her her daughters, Mary Alice Orrell and husbandClyde, Shirley May-Richardson and husband Donald Richardson,Patricia Brown and husband Robert, and Frances Bates and husbandPaul, all of Brookhaven; her sister, Arverta Smith, of Monticello;her three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces,nephews and other relatives.
