Brown earns defensive honor

Bogue Chitto junior linebacker Scotty Brown has been named MostValuable Defensive Player on the 2006 All-Region 4-1A FootballTeam. Brown was credited with 156 tackles this season, helpingBogue Chitto make the state playoffs.

Sean Brauchle of Biloxi Mercy Cross and Jason McNair of Mt.Olive were chosen Co-Most Valuable Players. Patrick McDonough ofNatchez Cathedral was named MVP Offense and Charlie Fall ofStringer was chosen MVP Speical Teams.

Joining Brown on the First Team from Bogue Chitto were SethAvants, Mario Addison, Keyouna Perkins, Fred Tillman, DonyeaDillion and Robert Bigner. Second Team players include NickNoworyta, Robert Lewis and Trey Bales.

Representing Enterprise on the First Team are Chris Moak, TreyBoyd, M.T. Martin and Rodney Barker. Zack Jackson and Ky Mathaswere selected to the Second Team.

West Lincoln’s First Team players include Lee Jones and JeremyByrd. Making the Second Team were Kolby Burris, Jamie Byrd, JamieRushing and Cole Wallace.
