Beth P. Comer
Services for Beth P. Comer, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Saturday,Dec. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant HillBaptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.
Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Comer, 87, died Dec. 6, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Aug. 2, 1919, to Jesse J. Price andWinnie Burns Price.
She was a retired secretary from the Waterways ExperimentStation in Clinton. She was a member of Bogue Chitto BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AshleyGuin Comer; and her brothers, James Lee Price and John WilliamPrice.
Survivors are her sisters, Nelda Clark, Jessie B. Price, JaniceWallace and Jenny Faye Wallace, all of Bogue Chitto; and a host ofnieces and nephews.
Alexander Hall Jr.
Services for Alexander Hall Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.today, Dec. 8, at Wellman Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burialin the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.
Mr. Hall, 93, died Dec. 6, 2006, at Silver Cross Home. He wasborn in Brookhaven on May 12, 1913, to Alexander Hall Sr. and ArtieBallard Hall.
He was retired from retail sales with Columbus Lumber Co., andWalls Lumber Co. He was a member of Wellman Baptist Church, and amember of Topisaw Masonic Lodge.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ella MaeHall; his eight brothers, four sisters and twogreat-grandchildren.
Survivors are his son, Larry Hall and wife Mary Lou, ofBrookhaven; his daughter, Joyce McCoy and husband Ed, of DenhamSprings, La.; his grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie andJohn Foster, Cory and Michelle Hall, Mike and Susan Nuckles, Darryland April Burris, all of Brookhaven, Michael Smith Sr. and AlinaSmith, Keith and Angie Smith, and Shane McCoy, all of Louisiana;his great-grandchildren, Braxton and Brooke Foster, Conner Hall,Lauren and Kailee Nuckles, Michael Smith Jr. and Sydni Smith, andAli and Aiden McCoy.
Cecil Ransom Munn
Services for Cecil Ransom Munn, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. Sunday,Dec. 10, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inRocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson.
Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Munn, 70, died Dec. 6, 2006, at his residence. He was bornon Jan. 2, 1936, to Quitman Samuel Munn Sr. and Lummie StricklandMunn.
He was retired from Gordon Redd Lumber where he worked as amillwright. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the CubanMissile Crisis. He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, JohnMunn, Russell Munn and Walter Munn; his sister, Bessie Munn, andone infant sister.
Survivors are his son, Timothy Ransom Munn and daughter-in-law,Linda Munn, of Wesson; his daughter, Belinda Munn Cooley andson-in-law, John Cooley, of Brookhaven; his brother, Q.S. Munn, ofWesson; his sisters, Etta Moak, of Crystal Springs, and May Hart,of Summit; his six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
