Services for Elsie Roberts Prescott, of Summit, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Nov. 25, at Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church inSummit with burial in the church cemetery. Jones Family FuneralServices in McComb is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is today from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home andon Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of theservice.
Mrs. Prescott, 73, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at herresidence. She was born in Pike County on Nov. 10, 1933, to Sam “BoJack” Roberts and Isabelle “Miss Belle” Furlow Roberts.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Churchin Laurel and attended Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church,where she was active in many church activities.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, StanleyRoberts; and her four sisters, Velma Norton, Ruby Carroll, AlmaHenley and Florence “Kit” Harper.
Survivors are her husband, George L. Prescott, of Summit; hersons, Wayne Prescott, of Vicksburg, and Stanley W. Prescott, ofKent, Wash.; her sister, Helen Watts, of Summit; her fourgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family membersand friends.
