Memorial services for Bro. Curtis Wade “Big Daddy” McCullom ofPerris, Calif., are 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Figueroa Church ofChrist in Los Angeles, Calif., and will be Webcast at noon from LosAngeles for viewing in Brookhaven at Center Street Church ofChrist. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of localarrangements.
Bro. McCullom, 63, died Nov. 9, 2006, in Perris. He was born inBrookhaven to John McCullom and Pauline Stephens McCullom on Feb.8, 1943.
He was educated at Harding University in Searcy, Ark., and otherBible colleges in Mississippi. He was a spiritual leader and aformer pastor at Center Street Church of Christ in Brookhaven.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his four brothers,Paul, Versy, Glen and Johnny McCullom.
Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Hazel Louise Hill McCullom,of Perris; his sons, C.B. McCullom, of Murietta, Calif., and CephasMcCullom, of Los Angeles; his daughters, Glennetta Fleming, ofUpland, Calif., Deanne Tyre, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and FeliciaBurnette, of Stockbridge, Ga.; his brothers, John McCullom Jr., ofMississippi, and George McCullom, of Kansas City, Mo.; his sisters,Claudia Fells, of Kansas City, Mo., Edith Smart, of Sacramento,Calif., Kathy McCullom, of Los Angeles, and Sandra Brown, of BogueChitto; his adopted children, Bobby Clark, Fred Clark, Rose Clark,Stacey Clark, LaTasha Carroway, Alanna Garrison, Jean Sullivan, andLissa and Kerry Mitchell.
