Services for Helen M. Jordan, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inRosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jordan, 84, died Aug. 31, 2006, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on Feb. 27, 1922, to William M. Marr andHattie Waldrop Marr.

She was the retired owner of Helen’s Fabrics for 25 years. Shewas a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HowellJordan and her daughter, Barbara Evans.

Survivors are her son, Joseph W. Jordan, of Brandon; herdaughter, Belinda J. Jordan, of Bogue Chitto; her brother, WilliamE. Marr, of Tupelo; her five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildrenand four great-great-grandchildren.
