Services for Mamie “Pat” Hall Jennings, of Greenville, are 7p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at Smith Funeral Home in Greenville.Visitation is Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Therewill be another visitation held on Saturday, Aug. 26 from noonuntil 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, witha funeral service at 2 p.m., followed by burial in the churchcemetery. The Rev. Arthur Scott will officiate the services.
Jennings, 58, died Aug. 22, 2006, at Delta Regional MedicalCenter in Greenville. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Feb. 9, 1948,to Bennie Hall Sr., and Louise Moak Hall.
She great up in Bogue Chitto and attended school there. She hadbeen a resident of Greenville since 1967, where she worked as awaitress at several restaurants.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Ira LeeHall, John Henry Hall, Prentiss Hall, of Bogue Chitto, and LarryHall of Grand Bay, Ala.; her sisters, Mamie Jane Hall and Eunice”Tillithia” Hall Moak, of Bogue Chitto.
Survivors are her daughter, Ronicca Jennings, of Greenville; herbrothers, John Hugh Mathis and Quincy Hall, of Brookhaven, Jimmy”Jimbo” Hall, John Neal Hall and Wemes Hall, of Bogue Chitto, andBennie Hall Jr., of Jayess; her sisters, Essie McCaa, of Meadville,Bennie Blakeney, of Ferriday, La., Earline Carlisle, of McComb,Margaret “Darlene” Williams and Rita Hall, of Brookhaven, GloriaMercier and Martha Avants, of Bogue Chitto, Nancy Peyregne, ofGrand Bay, and Hattie Morris, of Saraland, Ala.; her grandchildren,Taylor Jennings, Austin Moore, Alexia Moore and Kaitlynn Moore; andseveral brothers- and sisters-in-law; two aunts and numerousnieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
