Services for Bessie Crump Taylor, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Jan. 21 at Crump Chapel United Methodist Church withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. with family presentfrom 6 to 7 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Taylor, 100, died Jan. 17, 2006, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born on Oct. 10, 1905, to William Crump and BerthaMcMillian Crump.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Crump Chapel UnitedMethodist Church, where she served on the Motherboard.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JessieTaylor; her daughter, Ruby Johnson; her brothers, Frank Crump, C.C.Crump and Lee M. Crump; and two sisters, Lucinda and Louvenia.

Survivors are her daughter, Margaret Brooks, of Brookhaven; herbrother, K.C. Crump, of Tampa, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and 65great-grandchildren.
