Teams are comprised of two people and the homes must be within a10 minute drive of each other.
“Trading Spaces,” produced by Banyan Productions, provides twoneighbors with the budget, a professional designer, a carpenter and48 hours to redo a room of their choice. There is one catch -neighbors have to switch houses and they have no say in how theirown room will look.
Before the work begins, neighbors write down how they would liketo redo their friend’s rooms. The designers then receive thesecomments along with pictures and room measurements.
As soon as they switch house keys, the teams roll up theirsleeves and get to work.
After two days of grueling work, the rooms are totallytransformed. Each team returns to their own home to see what’sbecome of their room.
