Services for Ruth G. Oxford of Brookhaven are 3 p.m. today, Oct.9, at Macedonia Baptist Church. Riverwood Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is today from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Oxford, 97, died Oct. 7, 2005, at Beverly Health Care. Shewas born on Feb. 13, 1908, to the Rev. Harry Richardson and MaudLenora Richardson.

She was a retired medical secretary. She was a member ofMacedonia Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of theEastern Star in Seabrook, Texas.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JohnBuster Oxford, her daughter, Norma Jean Hickman; three sisters; anda brother.

Survivors are her Daughter, Esther Ruth Haynes and her husband,J. Preston, of Seabrook, Texas; her nine grandchildren; her 19great-grandchildren, and her 12 great-great-grandchildren.
