Dear Editor,

I had a snake in my trailer, and I called the sheriff’s office.They sent a deputy sheriff out, who is the son of JohnnyLeggett.

I want to thank him for coming to my rescue. My neighbor Ms. Louwas with me, and he came in and got the snake out of my trailer. Iwas scared to death. Ms. Lou and I stayed behind the sheriff’s carand Jessie caught it and got it out.

He talked to me and calmed me down. He was really great, politeand really nice. He even helped me back into my trailer – a verynice gentleman to both of us. He made sure Ms. Lou and I were bothall right.

He really needs a medal for his bravery.
