Services for Patsy Ann White Smith Howell of Pricedale are 11a.m.Tuesday, May 31, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel in McCombwith burial in Union Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Howell, 63, died May 29, 2005, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Lincoln Countyon July 12, 1941, to the late Horton Lanier White and Dessie LouThornhill White.

She was a a paper carrier for the Enterprise-Journal for thelast 15 years. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church and AuburnChapter 87 of The Order of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, SheltonLeroy Smith; two brothers, Grover Edward White Sr. and CalvinLanier White; grandson, Justin Carol Fair; and two stepsons, JohnHowell and James Howell.

Survivors are her husband, Ross Howell of Pricedale; one son,Ricky Shelton Smith of McComb; two daughters and sons-in-law,Dessie Luanne and Paul Fair of Osyka and Patricia Jane Ann “Patty”and Robert Bryan of McComb; four stepdaughters and spouses, Shirleyand James Carlton of McComb, Sandra and Terry Sandlin of Leesburg,Fla., Linda Madison of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Barbara and SteveStevens of Augusta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Chasity Smith Lutrickand husband Gary, Nikki Smith, Dustin Paul Fair Sr. and wife Beth,Robert Patrick Bryan and Steven Carl Bryan; fourteenstepgrandchildren, Allison Magee and husband Kevin, Jason Carlton,Nicole Llenza, Susan Blackburn and husband Matt, Rebecca Howell,James Ross Howell, Matthew Howell, Chris Howell and wife Denine,Melissa Howell, Brad Howell, Paul Stevens, Conerly Stevens, DavidStevens and Michael Stevens; numerous step-great-grandchildren; anaunt, Eva Mae Cornwell; uncles, Acie Thornhill and Evon White; bestfriends and adopted sisters, Linda Dixon and Mary Smith; andnumerous nieces and nephews.
