Services for Nora Mae Welter Myers, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, May 11 at Wesson Baptist Church with burial in theWesson Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andWednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Myers, 84, died May 9, 2005, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Wesson on March 10,1921, to Prentiss C. Manning and Martha Montroy Manning.

She was retired from the Potter Company and a retired carrierfor Copiah Bank. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Starand the American Legion. She was a member of Wesson Baptist Churchwhere she was a member of the Dorcis Sunday School Class and amember of the WMU.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, JohnA. Welter Sr.; a daughter, Martha Miller; and a grandchild, ConnieMiller.

Survivors are her daughters, Judy W. Herrington, of Brookhaven,and Peggy W. Peets and her husband, Gary, of Wesson; herstepdaughter, Ruth Allen, of Rockport; her son, John A. Welter Jr.and his wife, Annie Ruth, of Wesson; her stepson, Jerry Myers andhis wife, Tina, of Wesson; eight grandchildren, Prentiss Welter,Ray Herrington Jr., Chris H. Evans, Gina Pettis, Tommy Joe Miller,Lisa Burns, Allen Peets and Derek Peets; 11 stepgrandchildren,Roger Wilkinson, Beverly Loflin, Melanie Hall, Julie Barlow, AngieAllen, Josh Allen, Missy Neal, Kristy Jackson, Dana Norton, BrandiAnding and Gary Myers; and a host of great-grandchildren andgreat-great-grandchildren.
