Services for Bessie Arnold, of Meadville, were 11 a.m. today,May 2 at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in McCall CreekChurch of God.

Mrs. Arnold, 105, died April 30, 2005, at Meadville NursingHome. She was born in Franklin County on Oct. 17, 1899, to WilliamWomack and Lelia Womack.

She was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Pleasant ValleyChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Walter Arnold;two husbands, Nimrod Arnold and Joe Arnold; one infant daughter;five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors are her daughter-in-law, Fannylene Arnold, ofSmithdale; her grandsons, Roger Arnold and his wife, Connie, ofMeadville, and Glen Arnold and his wife, Gleanda, of McCall Creek;three great-grandchildren, Lisa Storey, Shane Arnold and JustinArnold.
