The Brookhaven Lady Panthers wrapped up their season Fridaynight with a 12-0 win over the McComb Lady Tigers in fastpitchsoftball action. The Lady Panthers finished 12-10 overall and 6-4in division play.

Ashley Sykes was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts andone walk.

Lauren Smith powered the Lady Panthers with a home run. Triplingwas Allyson Wallace. Brittany Smith doubled and singled. Singlingtwice was Taylor Crane. Kelly Vinson and Terri Hodges hitsafely.

“I’m proud of my seniors,” said Brookhaven head fastpitch coachLisa Covington. “I want to thank the parents and community fortheir support. This has been a great group of girls. They will bemissed.”

The losing pitcher was Rachel Ford with five walks.

Brittany Smith and Hodges worked the mound for the Lady Panthersin their win over the Lady Tigers. Smith fanned four batters andHodges struck out two and walked three.

Katie Smith tripled and singled for Brookhaven. Doubling wasBrittany Bateman. Jana Wallace, Brianna Ashmore and Kelsey Freemensingled.
