Teenagers arrested in vandalism

WESSON – Three teenagers were arrested Wednesday in connectionwith recent vandalism at the Old Wesson School building, saidPolice Chief Steve Carlisle.
“We had a bunch of windows broken out,” Carlisle said indescribing the incident that happened about a week ago.
Carlisle said about 20 windows were broken and caused anestimated $2,600-$3,400 in damage. The windows have not beenreplaced yet, he said.
An investigation led authorities to three girls, ages 12,13 and15, who were picked up Wednesday, the chief said. Their cases willbe presented in youth court.
The Old Wesson School is in the process of being renovated forthe Saint Ambrose Leadership School for boys.
