Services for Elizabeth Chatman, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Macedonia M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Ms. Chatman, 87, died Feb. 9, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 6, 1917, to Joe ChatmanSr. and Lucille Wilson Chatman.

She was retired. She was a member of Macedonia M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, AudreyHooks; her sisters, Beatrice Chatman, Rosie Lee Chatman, FlordineChatman and Sarah Armstrong; her brothers, J.C. Chatman, EdnaChatman, Earnest Chatman, Joe Chatman and Charlie JamesChatman.

Survivors are her son, Harry Adams, of Brookhaven; her sister,Margie Griffin and her husband, Issac, of Jackson; her brother,Ellis Chatman and his wife, Velma, of Brookhaven; threegrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
