Services for Paul E. Umbdenstock Jr., of Petal, are 1:30 p.m.Thursday, Feb. 10 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hattiesburg withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at MooreFuneral Home in Hattiesburg.

Mr. Umbdenstock, 65, died Feb. 8, 2005, at Forrest GeneralHospital in Hattiesburg. He was born in New Orleans, La., to PaulE. Umbdenstock Sr. and Dorothy Mary Schoedor Umbdenstock.

He retired in 1997 after 32 years as the owner of ProgressiveDistributing Company. He was a member and elder of St. John LuthernChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 42 years, Lynn Umbdenstock, of Petal;his three daughters, Sheila Szymanski and Tammy Mendoza, both ofHuntsville, Ala., and Lisa Walters, of Petal; his brother, EdwardJ. Umbdenstock, of New Orleans; six grandchildren; and twogreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, theAmerican Cancer Society, the Diabetes Foundation or St. JohnLutheran Church.
