Talmadge E. Knight
Services for Talmadge E. Knight of Laurel are 4 p.m. Friday,Jan. 7 at Hebron Baptist Church with burial in Union LyonsCemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 2-4 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Knight, 74, died Jan. 4, 2005, at his residence. He was bornin Soso on Sept. 25, 1930, to Alomzo Knight and Cora WadeKnight.
He had worked as a security guard and was retired. He was aveteran of the Army with service in the Korean War.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister; and onebrother.
Survivors are his wife, Gloria Holifield Knight of Laurel; hisstepdaughters, Patrica Strickland of Laurel, Myra Skinner ofPuxico, Mo., Sonya Dunn of St. Francisville, La., and Joan Barkerof Santa Rosa, Calif.; his stepsons, Keith Ainsworth and TommyLawrence, both of Laurel; 16 stepgrandchildren; and twostepgreat-grandchildren.

Services for James Larry “Jamie” Webb Jr. of Meadville are 11a.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadvillewith burial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 8-11 a.m. atthe funeral home.
Mr. Webb, 40, died Jan. 4, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Natchez onSept. 25, 1964, to Larry Webb, of Roxie, and Sherry LehmannPeeples, of Meadville.
He was an offshore foreman for the Woods Group. He was a memberof Bude Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Maxie Webb.
Survivors are his parents; his daughters Bailey Webb and CarsynWebb, both of Meadville; his brothers, Daron Webb of NorthCarolina, and Ryan Webb, of Meadville; and his grandparents, CarlRay and Sister Lehmann and Margaret Webb, all of Roxie.
