Graveside services for Mattie Bell Wellborn Cowart of Monticelloare 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Wilson FuneralHome in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cowart, 92, died Dec. 29, 2004, at Lawrence County NursingCenter in Monticello. She was born in Lawrence County on Feb. 14,1912, to Robert M. Wellborn and Annie Rebecca Beale Wellborn.

She was an executive housekeeper who worked in hospitals and inMarriott hotels.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, EdwinMax Cowart.

Survivors are her niece, Betty Davis; and her nephew, JackWellborn.
