Services for Darlene Alexander of Jayess were 2 p.m. Monday,Sept. 6 at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Jayess with burial in thechurch cemetery. Community Funeral Services was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Alexander, 60, died Sept. 2, 2004, at her residence. Shewas born in Eugene, Ore., on July 1, 1944, to Claude O. Kimball andDerwinna Brown.

She was a respiratory therapist at Lawrence County Hospital. Shewas a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Jesse Alexander of Jayess; herdaughter, Wanda Miller of Monticello; her son, Phillip Alexander ofMonticello; her sister, Darlene B. Alexander of Anaheim, Calif.;her brothers, Vern Bauch of Bend, Ore., and Gordon Bauch of Yuma,Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
