Britt, Kennedy MVPs on coach’s All-County team

Senior guard Jared Britt of Loyd Star and junior center AliciaKennedy of West Lincoln have been selected Most Valuable Players onthe Coach’s All-Lincoln County Basketball Team for the 2003-04season. Britt averaged 27.3 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists pergame for the Hornets as they advanced to the Class 2A stateplayoffs and finished 24-6. Kennedy averaged 10 points and 8rebounds per game for the Lady Bears who made their first statetournament appearance in five years, reaching the semifinals.

Joining Britt on the All-County Boys squad are Loyd Starteammates Sidney Chester, Rufus Humphries and Tyler Williford.

Bogue Chitto is represented by Michael Blackwell, IrrieCatchings and Aaron Gill West Lincoln’s selections are Landon Caseand Brooks Smith.
