Terry, McComb lead Division 7-4A soccer

Terry and McComb dominated individual honors on the 2003-4All-Division 7-4A Soccer Team. Jess Shelby, a junior forward fromTerry, was selected Most Valuable Player on the boys team andteammate Josh Butler was named Most Valuable Defensive Player.Terry’s John Regan was named Boys Coach of the Year and McCombforward Ryan Causey was picked Most Valuable Offensive Player.

On the girls dream team, Jim Hill goalkeeper Brittney Berry waspicked overall MVP. Senior forward Ashlee Brown of Terry was MVPOffense and senior stopper Kristin Murrell of McComb was named MVPDefense. Terry’s Lisa May was chosen Coach of the Year.

On the Boys First Team, Brookhaven was represented by juniorforward Tyler Alexander and junior midfielder Giles Langston.Second team honors went to junior forward Guy Orr, juniormidfielder Jeffrey Kintner and senior defenseman SheldonNations.

Lawrence County landed senior forward Klien Harbour and seniorkeeper Will Todd on the First Team. On the Second Team were juniorforward Travis Stalans and junior midfielder Brad Young.

Brookhaven girls named to the First Team were junior midfielderTaylor Crane and junior defender Laura Waldrop. Second Teamrecognition went to senior forward Brittany Smith and juniordefender Allyson Wallace.

Lawrence County was represented on the First Team by juniorkeeper Corie Walker and on the second team by midfielders EllieFairburn and Sarah Hartzog.
