Services for Rhonda Grimes of Monticello are 2 p.m., Friday,Feb. 20, at Southgate Baptist Church with burial in Carmel BaptistChurch Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Grimes, 52, died Feb. 18, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on March 8, 1951, to Diamond Young and IdaElois King.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Southgate Baptist Church.She was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years.

Survivors are her father, Diamond Young of Monticello; hermother and stepfather, Ida Elois and Willard King of Monticello;her husband, Toby Grimes of Monticello; her sons, John TerrellGrimes of Florence, and Jason Ladon Grimes and Joshua Aaron Grimes,both of Monticello; her brothers, Ronald Young, Wayne Young, HaroldYoung, Michael Young, Kerry Young and Kevin Young, all ofMonticello; her stepsister, Gail Hudson of Maben; her stepbrothers,Don King of Monticello, and Steven King of Hinds County; and fivegrandchildren.
