Services for Wyline Byrd of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,Feb. 14, at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.
Ms. Byrd, 46, died Feb. 9, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on March 9, 1957, to Ossie Byrdand Ola Mae Kelly Byrd.
She was disabled, and was a graduate of West Lincoln School.
Survivors are her devoted companion, Jerry Hayes of Brookhaven;her adopted daughters, Shandra Weathersby, Omega Weathersby andPorcha Weathersby of Brookhaven; her sisters and brothers-in-law,Mary Burns-Henderson and Edward, Earnestine and Glean Burks, andJosephine Byrd-Henry and Wayne of Brookhaven; her brothers, E.C.Byrd of Brookhaven, Wayne Cooper of Monticello, and Cory Green ofMichigan; her stepmother, Gloria Byrd of Brookhaven; herstepsister, Phyllis Peartree of Brookhaven; her stepbrother, GuyWilliams of Brookhaven; her dear cousin, Vera Coleman ofBrookhaven; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends;and her special friends, Debra Morris, Mary Kelly Richardson andAudrey Rawls.
