Services for Lemuel “L.B.” Robinson of Meadville are 10 a.m.,Friday, Jan. 9, at Faith Church with burial in Wrights MethodistChurch Cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 8, beginning at 4 p.m. at thechurch.
Mr. Robinson, 65, died Jan. 6, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in Hattiesburg on Nov. 3, 1938, to the Rev. L.B. Robinson Sr.and Janie Stutz Robinson.
He was an independent contracted carrier for The DAILY LEADERand a former employee of Royal Maid. He was a member of BethelUnited Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his stepmothers, RuthRobinson and Vera Mae Farmer; his brothers, Gene and JamesRobinson, Norman Ray Cooley and James Taylor; his mother-in-law,Bertha Mullins; and his father-in-law, Ulmo D. Mullins.
Survivors are his wife, Jan Mullins Robinson of Meadville; hissons and daughter-in-law Wade and Charlotte Philabaum Robinson andCody Robinson, all of Meadville; his granddaughter, Janney Robinsonof Meadville; his grandson, William Robinson of Meadville; hisbrothers, Bobby Joe Robinson of Petal, Jerry Robinson of McComb andTimmy Robinson of Brookhaven; his sisters, Mary Smith, Ann Hancockand Nema Kirk, all of Petal; Peggy Lewis of Ovette and Janet Holmesof Columbia; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and DarleneMullins, both of Meadville; and special children in his life,Melissa Hall, Jessica and Brandon Mullins, Cassie Kennedy, Eric andAllen Cupit, Sarah, Jeffrey “JJ” Jones and Victoria Jones, JoshuaAllen, Kevin and Taylor Davis, Dana Brady and Diane Martin.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Allen, Kevin Davis, Wesley Hall,Brandon Mullins, Cody Robinson and Wade Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers are John Mullins, Andy Smith, JimmyBallard, Eric Cupit, Jeffrey Jones and Sonny James Smith.
