Services for James Julius Havard of Knoxville were 11 a.m.,Saturday, Dec. 27, at Spring Hill Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville is in charge ofarrangements.
Mr. Havard, 90, died Dec. 25, 2003, at Franklin County Hospital.He was born in Franklin County on Jan. 19, 1913, to Cade Havard andAllie Ford Havard.
He was a logger and a farmer.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a son, three sistersand a brother.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Lou Davis Havard of Knoxville; hissons, Jessie Havard of Knoxville, and J.C. Havard and BillieHavard, both of Roxie; his sister, Allie Shell of Knoxville; sevengrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; fourstep-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
