Services for Kennon Ray Robinson of Hazlehurst are 11 a.m.,Thursday, Nov. 13, at West Side Baptist Church in Hazlehurst withburial in Bethesda Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday beginning at 3 p.m., at the church.

Mr. Robinson, 71, died Nov. 10, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Taylorsville on Nov. 11, 1932, to Athel Robinson and WinnieJohnson.

He was a retired supervisor at Sanderson Farms Processing Plant.He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Kenneth R.Robinson; three sisters, Barbara, Well R. Purvis and Margie R.White; and a brother, Tommy Robinson.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Weathersby Robinson of Hazlehurst;his daughter, Peggy Gunter of Crysler; his sisters, Ruth Henriottof Ft. Walton, Fla., and Doris Tullos of Hattiesburg; his brother,Burlie Robinson of Plainsville, Tenn.; his granddaughter, HeatherDykes; and his great-grandchild, Phillip Dykes.
