Services for Mary Dash of Brookhaven are 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov.1, at Tyler Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Hope MissionaryBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon – 7 p.m., with family presentfrom 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dash, 91, died Oct. 26, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Brookhaven on July 3, 1912, to Pink Patton and MelissaNelson.

She was a retired caretaker, and a member of New Hope M.B.Church, where she served in the Missionary Society.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, LouisDash; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors are her nieces, Eleanor Truvillion of Abilene, Texas,Christine Weathersby of Brookhaven, Henrene Francois of NewOrleans, La., and Doris Ray Johnson of Brookhaven; her nephews,William Butler of Tacoma, Wash., and Jerry Collins of Brookhaven;and her godchildren, Thomas and Rosie Marie Francois of NewOrleans.
