Services for Jimmy Lee Fairman of Los Angeles, Calif., formerlyof Brookhaven, are 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Siloam MissionaryBaptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from noon – 7 p.m., with family hour from7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.
Mr. Fairman, 63, died Aug. 22, 2003, in Los Angeles, Calif. Hewas born in Lincoln County on Feb. 7, 1940, to Anthony “Brother”Fairman and Rosilee Fairman.
He was a retired self-employed auto body repairman, and a memberof Macedonia United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors are his wife, Annie Ruth Byrd Fairman of Las Vegas,N.V.; his daughter, Patricia Fairman of Oakland, Calif.; his son,Timothy Fairman of Oakland; his mother, Rosilee Fairman ofBrookhaven; his sisters, Elease Gearing of Los Angeles, Calif.,Velma McCray of South Holland, Ill., Jewelene Waller of Palmsdale,Calif., Mable Jones of Brookhaven, and Rosie Dobbs of Sauk Village,Ill.; his brothers, Charles “Pete” Fairman of Chicago, Ill.,Anthony “Yake” Fairman of Ontario, Calif., and George “Tip”Fairman, Harvey Fairman and Robert Fairman, all of Brookhaven; sixgrandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
