Services for Willie D. Mullins of Brookhaven, formerly ofQuentin, are 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Springfield MissionaryBaptist Church in Bogue Chitto with burial in SpringfieldCemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from noon – 6 p.m., with a wake servicefrom 6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.
Mr. Mullins, 84, died July 29, 2003, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 22, 1918, to NoahMullins and Celestine Jones Mullins.
He was a retired sawmill worker. He was a member of St. PaulMissionary Baptist Church in Quentin. He was a World War IIveteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, BerthaMullins.
Survivors are his daughters, Gwendolyn Wyatt and Jan Mullins,both of Atlanta, Ga.; his sons, Willie Wyatt, Bobbie Wyatt andPatrick Wyatt, all of Atlanta, Wallace Wyatt of Clarksville, Tenn.,and Robbie Wyatt of Miami, Fla.; and his sister, Alberta Herring ofBogue Chitto; a host of grandchildren; and a host of nieces andnephews.
