Services for Lucille R. Davis of Monticello were 11 a.m.Saturday, Aug. 2, at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Mrs. Davis, 90, died July 31, 2003, at Lawrence County NursingHome. She was born in Monticello on May 22, 1913.

She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Monticello.

Survivors are her sons, Jimmy R. Davis of Monticello, Charles P.Davis Jr. of Benton and Emmett Reid Davis of Brandon; daughters,Margaret Garrett of Silver Creek and Fannie Mullins Speights ofMonticello; sister, Earlene Reid Hamilton of Columbia; a nephewraised as a brother, Floyd Beeson of Columbia; 17 grandchildren;and 29 great-grandchildren.

Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
