Services for Gillis Edgar Beasley of Wesson are 11 a.m.,Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Providence United Methodist Churchwith burial in Providence Cemetery.

Visitation is today, from 5-9 p.m. at Stringer Funeral Home inHazlehurst.

Mr. Beasley, 75, died April 9, 2003 at Natchez RegionalHospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of CopiahCounty.

He was a cattle and catfish farmer. He was a member ofProvidence United Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Aloise Beasley; his son, Ben Beasley ofStrong Hope; and his grandson, Tyler Beasley.
