Services for Floyd Clark Roberts of LaPlace, La., are 10:30a.m., Wednesday, March 26, at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home Chapelwith burial in Ruth Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Roberts, 89, died March 23, 2003. He was born in Ruth onDec. 11, 1913, to William and Jessie Clark Roberts.

He was retired from the U.S. Navy with 30 years service. He wasalso retired from Magnolia REA. He was a veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Cleo Johnson Roberts; hisdaughters, Susan Stewart of Boca Raton, Fla., Judith Smith ofMcComb, and Kay Speights of LaPlace, La.; one sister, Merle Quinnof Sterling Point Island, Va.; and six grandchildren and 10great-grandchildren.
