Services for Damarquis Javon Johnson of Monticello are 2:30p.m., Wednesday, March 5, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Churchwith burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in chargeof arrangements.

The infant Johnson, 1, died March 1, 2003, in Jefferson DavisCounty. He was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 19, 2001, to JohnnyEarl Battee and Casheka Victoria Johnson.

Survivors are his mother, Casheka Victoria Johnson ofMonticello; his father, Johnny Earl Battee of Silver Creek; hisbrother, Damarus Battee of Monticello; his maternal grandfather,Tommy Kees of Brookhaven; and his paternal grandmother, AnnieBattee of Silver Creek.
