Services for Vivian Delois Thames of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Feb. 15, at Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Thames, 88, died Feb. 13, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on March 6, 1914, to WillieMartin and Mollie Williamson Martin.

She was a retired nurse technician, with 27 years service atKing’s Daughters Medical Center. She was a member of Bethel TemplePentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, BenjaminThames; her brothers, Jessie Martin, Estus Martin and Ralph Martin;and three sisters, Myrtis Allen, Elvis Sartin and LillianMartin.

Survivors are her son, Doyle Thames of Ruth; her daughter,Yvonne Wooten of Brookhaven; her sisters, Melva Boyte and JewellMartin, both of Brookhaven; and eight grandchildren, eightgreat-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
