Services for Nell Lawrence of McComb were 11 a.m., Friday, Jan.31, at Hartman Funeral Home with burial in Enon Cemetery.

Mrs. Lawrence, 78, died Jan. 29, 2003, at McComb Extended Care.She was born in Walthall County on Sept. 27, 1924, to Ervin andLillie Morris.

She was a member of First Assembly of God in McComb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HermanLawrence; her brothers, Earl and W. C. Morris; and her sisters,Lovie Langston and Alice Baum.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and LoisLawrence of Brookhaven; her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene andGlenn Wren of Summit; her sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and R.E. Johnston of Clinton; her grandchildren, Chad and GenevieveLawrence of Austin, Texas, Kelsey and Stacy Lawrence of Brookhaven,and Glenna Wren of Summit; her great-grandchild, Nicole Lawrence ofAustin, Texas; and a special friend, Willie May Brister ofMcComb.
