Services for Robert Eugene Smith of Brookhaven are 10:30 a.m.,Thursday, Jan. 30, at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church with burial inHeucks Retreat Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m., at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mr. Smith, 90, died Jan. 28, at King’s Daughters Medical Center.He was born in Brookhaven on March 27, 1912, to R.K. Smith andLillie Bell Coker Smith.

He was a retired dairy farmer. He was a member of Heucks RetreatBaptist Church, where he served as a deacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, E. EarlSmith; his sisters, Myrtle Free and Bertile Haley; an infant son;and two grandchildren.

Survivors are his wife, Annie Mae Smith of Brookhaven; his sonsand daughters-in-law, the Rev. Robert Lloyd “Bobby” and Nina Smith,W.H. “Hamp” and Sherra Smith, and Rudy J. and Linda Smith, all ofBrookhaven; his daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Perry Athertonof Brandon; his brother, Jewell Smith of Brookhaven; and eightgrandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
