Services for Carrie Mae Kees of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,Jan. 25, at Jericho Church of Christ with burial in the churchcemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 1-7 p.m., with family hour from 7-8p.m., at Williams Mortuary.
Mrs. Kees, 75, died Jan. 18, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 27, 1927, to HarryKees Sr., and Audrey Kelly Kees.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Jericho Church ofChrist.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, DelorisKees; and two sons, Jerry Kees and Alton Kees.
Survivors are her sons, James Kees of St. Louis, Mo., and WilsonKees and Howard Kees, both of Brookhaven; her daughters, MaryCatherine Jones of Dallas, Texas, and Myrtis L. Smith of Atlanta,Ga.; her brothers, Houston Kees and Alton Kees, both of Brookhaven;her sister, Earnestine Kees of Brookhaven; and 20 grandchildren;and 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
