Services for Edith Lee Allgood Smith of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Jan. 11, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inFriendship Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 87, died Jan. 8, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on March 1, 1915, to LeonAllgood and Mary Case Allgood.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Friendship BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JohnWesley Smith; and two brothers and five sisters.

Survivors are her sons, John Jerry Smith and Sammy Lee Smith,both of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Felicia Parker, DarleenRunnels, Sonya Anders and Shane L. Smith; and sixgreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church.
